Dr. Arun Mehta fashion has outdone himself by helping select one of the more remarkable individuals who have graced the Global Learn Day Stage. He’s Dr. T.V. Raman; his topic is Equal Access To Information Raises All BoatsDr. Raman is a true illuminary. Please visit just a few of the many dozens of sites Google returned to me with a quick search. Take your time, because the background and the work of this amazing man is well worth your time.
What’s notable is to point out that in this Region we have featured exceptional people working hard to make it easier for those with disabilities or those otherwise severely 
challenged to have access to the Net. We hear great things about happenings in Bangalore, and salute the progress made there. But Bangalore is only a small slice of a very large landscape with dreadful poverty and huge challenges. Dr. Raman, who just happens to be blind, is pushing a big rock up a steep mountain. Again we are proud very proud he will be our South Asian Keynoter.
