Keynoter Vishen Lakhiani — from Kuala Lumpur

Veteran sail boat racers will tell you that nicely meshing new blood with the old salts makes for the best chances to be the lead boat at the end of the race. With that in mind, we are particularly pleased that Vishen Lakhiani, speaking from Kuala Lumpur, will provide our Keynote for the East Asian segment of this “voyage”. It will be a good one!

Vishen is the co-founder to Mindvalley where he is ” responsible for dreaming up new ideas and joint ventures and translating them into innovative, profitable Internet products.

Easy to say. Hard to do.

Photo Vishen LakhianiAfter collecting his Computer and Electrical Engineering from Michigan State University School of engineering, and after spending loads of time in Silcon Valley, and after work as a web developer with Microsoft, and in various executive positions involviing “international development” — including growing an enterprise from a small apartment in San Francisco to a 100 employee operation, in two years, and after collaborating with the hundreds noted on his blog site —well, you get the point.

This guy turns bright ideas into reality.

His Keynote is about a drum we beat awfully hard: Web 2.0 and it’s Impact on Education

That may sound a wee bit dull. But after talking with Vishen for a couple of hours on the phone, and after checking out some sites he sent me to, you can be rest-assured what Vishen has to say will be anything but dull.

I’m listening to you with a PDK interview while being in Okinawa. We should get together sometimes to see what we can do. I’m working at SyUC.
