Regional Index and Personal Blog Pages

All keynoters, panelists, ‘very special persons”, and all speakers should take notice of this post. This is exceptionally important.

About Regional Index Pages

For each Region (Southern Pacific, East Asia, etc.) we will create a Regional Index Page which will serve as a guide to the line up of speakers and topics in each Region. A good example of such page is the Opening Ceremonies. When you view that page, please note the Arabic Numbers assigned on it…starting one (1) and up. The Arabic numbering system has served us very well in the past and will do so in here as well.

About Keynoter and Personal Blog Pages

I would like you to view Keynoter and Personal Blog pages we have already built for some speakers and some keynoters. In the week ahead I hope to have built personal pages for every single Keynoter and every Speaker and every Panelist. Please view, next, some of these:

Beth Smile (who will provide the Welcome to North America) Introduction to Page

Dr. Raman (South Asia) Keynoter
Taran Rampersand, Keynoter, Latin America
Annette Stock, Speaker, Southern Pacific

What do I need to build YOUR page?

Here’s a three word response — URL’s. URL’s. URL’s.

Please send me urgently web sites where viewers can find your photo; your bio; your work experience; about your family; about your employer; your favorite book; a map that can be viewed of you city? street? home?; dogs? cats? babies? scrap book? movie? music? With all of that I can take the time to build a “nice” page where viewers can “drill down” in a way where you become “personal” to them.

I am a hard working, self-motivated and disciplined person with 13 years experience in the teaching / training environment. My experience includes learners of various ages. I believe in keeping abreast with education and technology. I took the leap to be a part of the Learning Course Management System (WebCT) team at the Centre for Teaching, Learning & Assessment at RAU. I coped under immense pressure in a ‘WebCT bottom-up approach’ where we were only two people administrating the environment as well as training the lecturers and teaching assistants. I have also completed my Masters research on the LCMS, WebCT support structure at RAU. I joined the Unisa team, as an Instructional Designer where I gained experience in paper-based instructional design, thereafter returned to RAU to join the instructional design team in the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Assessment. My current position as E-Learning Manager at UWC entails managing change when integrating E-Learning in an organisation.

    I am a mother of two sons and a daughter: ages 15, 8 & 2.
I have no pets. I will send some pics of my children and the beautiful city of Cape Town, South Africa.
